David Tschirhart Represents First Fast Casual Indian Restaurant

Tandur Indian Kitchen wants to establish venues for it restaurant in uptown and south Charlotte by the end of this year.  The fast-casual Indian concept, represented by Legacy’s David Tschirhart, is searching for its first Charlotte locations.

With a greater awareness of different cuisines options and a growth in the Indian community in Charlotte, The Patel brothers (H.P and J.P. Patel) are excited about the potential in the Charlotte market. Tandur will offer a higher-end fast casual experience. The concept will focus on more chef-driven options, an elevated dining experience and ambiance, and well plated dishes “You’re going to see that happen a lot in fast casual. There’s an evolution going on. Our goal is to be authentic — yet approachable.” H.P Patel says.

‘Tandur is working with Dave Tschirhart of Legacy to find space to accommodate that concept. It needs roughly 3,300-square-foot, end-cap spaces. Patel expects to invest roughly $1 million into each restaurant. Vision Builders will be the designer on the project.’ reports Jennifer Thomas of the Charlotte Business Journal.
