Chopt Creative Salad Co. has inked a lease for a  3,048-square-foot space Uptown at 212 S. Tryon St. The store is in the Johnston Bldg., formerly occupied by Fifth Third Bank.

Chop’t is a fast-casual salad joint whose menu features globally inspired salads from Mediterranean falafel, California steakhouseas well as a craft your own salad option, with a variety  greens, cheeses and toppings, such as gold and purple beets or roasted seasonal squash and  18 scratch-made dressings.

Chop’t’s uptown location joins their list of stores in the Park Road, Blakeney and Arboretum shopping centers here in the Queen City.  Colin McCabe, Chopt co-founder is excited about the Charlotte market and has predicted as many as 10 stores locally. “Our growth in North Carolina has been incredibly exciting,” The Uptown location is scheduled to open in the spring of 2019.
