La Belle Helene is targeting mid-summer for a soft opening at 300 South Tryon.

Expect a menu that delivers familiar food with a French twist. For example, think rotisserie chicken prepared in-house, simple steak and frites, salads and signature desserts, Says Brian Poplin, president and chief executive of Elior North America

This restaurant will bring a little international flavor to uptown Charlotte. Adam Williams with Legacy represented the landlord.

BULLA GASTROBAR SPANISH RESTAURANT

Bulla Gastrobar opened their seventh location in the Southeast and first in Charlotte today in SouthPark.

Legacy – Adam Williams Represented the tenant and restaurant owner Carlos Centurion.

This amazing restaurant has a contemporary spin on traditional Spanish tapas, an imaginative cocktail program, and an energetic atmosphere with extensive indoor and outdoor seating. You may ask your self, where did that name came from? Well, The name”Bulla”comes from the Spanish slang word for chatter and captures the restaurants namesake setting.

“Charlotte is welcoming all kinds of culinary talent and we are honored to be a part of the hospitality explosion happening in this wonderful city,” says Centurion. “From our culturally rich ingredients to our authentic pantry, we are excited to share our one-of-a-kind brand with the Queen City”.

On behalf of Legacy, We welcome Bulla to the Queen City!

Tandur Indian Kitchen – Second Location Success

Tandur Indian Kitchen, represented by Legacy’s David Tschirhart, has signed a deal for it’s second store, this time in south Charlotte’s Rea Farms. Less than one month ago, our client opened it’s first Charlotte venue in South Park at Morrison Place to great reviews. Tandur is bullish on the Charlotte market and is wasting no time introducing Charlotteans to it’s authentic Indian dishes as well as options such as salads and wraps with an Indian flare. Americans are discovering the flavors and textures of Indian food and it has become the fastest growing cuisine in America.

Rea Farms, developed and represented by Lincoln Harris is a 200-acre project including office, housing and retail. Tandur will occupy an end cap just off the village green.  Brothers H.P. and J.T Patel, the team behind the concept, plan to build their brand quickly with a vision of 4 venues here in Charlotte and an eye for expansion into Raleigh in the future.

Tandur Indian Kitchen will open in South Charlotte at Rae farms in the Fall, 2018.

Legacy Client Grabs Second Brewery Location

Untapped features many brewery options in the Charlotte market and recently named Legacy Real Advisors’ Client, WOOD ROBOT, as Charlotte’s Best Brewery.

That space is part of roughly 22,000 square feet of retail space available in an outparcel of the Novel NoDa project.  It sits adjacent to the Lynx Blue Line Extension’s 36th Street Station.

David Tschirhart helped Wooden Robot find their home in Charlotte and now with a second location. We at Legacy want to say CONGRATS to a great company (and AWESOME BEER) for this honor.

Definitely a great Brewery to visit and try!

Legacy Representing Tony Kuhn With Major Leasing Project

Brokers at Legacy are leasing two former industrial warehouses steps away from the station on either side. One is at 4100 Raleigh St. — the Station House — while the other, the Trailhead, is across the rail line, at 601 E. Sugar Creek Road.

Scott Fuller, one of our Brokers, has been in talks with rock-climbing gyms to potentially take part of the Trailhead project, an 88,000-square-foot former warehouse.

We are targeting a mix of regional or national retail tenants for the buildings as well as office tenants and smaller, “hyperlocal” retailers that build off NoDa’s established arts and cultural vibe.

“Divine Barrel Brewing and Bold Missy and a couple of other users are already pushing that North Davidson market,” said Greg Godley, partner at Legacy.

In fact, he continued, Legacy is seeing significant interest from businesses previously in South End that were ultimately pushed out of that submarket because of rising rents and terminated leases after properties traded hands. Rents for larger users at the Station House and the Trailhead are expected to be in the mid- to upper $20 per-square-foot range.

Godley, Fuller and Andrew Blumenthal at Legacy are marketing the properties on behalf of Flywheel Group.

As a group we are very excited to be part of this amazing project!
