bottled & tapped Finds Home in Cornelius

IMG_0595bottled & tapped    Opens in Cornelius

We are Dan & Shelly, the owners of bottle & tapped. We moved to North Carolina from our
native state of Colorado with the dream of joining North Carolina’s growing beer culture.
Dan’s idea of owning his own Tap House & Brewery with Shelly’s desire to be near her family
made our decision to move here an easy one. Our first step will be bottled & tapped, a craft
beer bottle shop, in Cornelius. We will have 16 rotating beers on tap, a beer engine for cask
ales, 5 wines on tap, and a wine slushy machine. Our retail will carry craft bottle, cans and
wine. We have partnered with Twenty Degree Chocolates in Charlotte, and will have them
available for pairing.

We definitely want to support the local breweries, so you will find North Carolina beers on tap
and on our shelves. We want to pay homage to our native state so Colorado beers will be a
big part of what we carry. American made craft beers will be the majority of our stock. With
so many great breweries we want to concentrate on helping them get out in front of the

A big part of bottle and tapped will be giving back to our community. We will select two charities a month and for every beer on tap sold we will give twenty five cents. As the
customer you decide which charity your quarter goes to. We will have a charity wall with info
and a place to watch the quarters accumulate.

If you are a charity or know of one, visit our
Facebook page or website and contact us.
We hope to have bottled & tapped open by August 2015. Be on the watch for our brewery,
WildWaters Brewing Company coming in 2016.

Charlotte Seafood and Raw Bar

Legacy’s Adam Williams and Sea Level brings Carolina seafood To Hearst Tower

Charlotte’s uptown will soon have a new culinary destination featuring fresh Carolina seafood. Sea Level will be opening later this year at the Hearst Tower in the food and beverage-centric, 5th Street and Tryon neighborhood. Legacy Real Estate Advisors’ Adam Williams brought Parkway Properties and Paul Manley (Sea Level owner) to an agreement which ends Manleys’s two year search for the dream location for his seafood and raw bar featuring local seafood and shellfish, especially North Carolina oysters. “We’re a farm-to-fork Carolina oyster bar,” he says.   The 4200 sq ft restaurant, formerly home to LaVecchia’s Steaks and Seafood, will undergo renovation to create a rustic, comfortable and approachable space. Williams loves the energy this ventures brings to the Charlotte neighborhood “It becomes kind of a marquee Fifth Street location, right in the middle of a vibrant food and beverage scene,” he says.
